Mark Lause, Professor of American History, University of Cincinnati
Dr. Lause discussed his 2009 book, Race and Radicalism in The Union Army, which documents the efforts of radical followers of John Brown to construct a triracial portion of the Federal Army of the Frontier, primarily in Kansas and Indian Territory, during the Civil War.
