What We Do

“Save the world!” That’s our hopeful answer.

We sponsor a weekly program from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday, in-person at UMKC and on Zoom. With the goal of enlightening, educating, or otherwise trying to bring reason to solving our problems.

Past programs have included lectures and discussion on dangers of fascism in America, dangers and benefits of Artificial Intelligence, Aristotle’s views on governments, strengthening local news, the 50th anniversary of the coup and Allende’s death in Chile, Robert Reich’s The Common Good, Green Technology and Policies, The Schofield Bible, Evolutionary Biology, Global Climate Change, Economic and Social Policies in Iran, Quantum Physics, the 9/11 Commission, the Subprime Meltdown, Madalyn Murray O’Hair, the ACLU, Political Campaigns, Islam Freudian Psychology, Economics as Science and Religion, The War on Drugs, Aristotle’s Philosophy, the Social Security Crisis, Scripture on the Resurrection, Darwin, Thomas Paine, and many others.
