Max J Skidmore, Ph.D., University of Missouri: Curators’ Professor of Political Science and Thomas Jefferson Fellow
Max Skidmore will discuss his most recent book, Unworkable Conservatism (Westphalia Press, 2017). He will argue that the main ideas todays liberals and conservatives profess are extremely difficult to implement; and if implemented, are likely to disappoint even their most fervent advocates.
