Sayra Gordillo, Campaign Projects Organizer for Missouri Jobs with Justice

Missouri Jobs with Justice is a coalition of community, labor, student and religious groups committed to fighting together by taking action. The more organized Missouri and its workforce, the more powerful the pressure that can be brought to bear on behalf of progressive community and labor issues. In 2012, Missouri Jobs with Justice is coordinating with allies to pass two ballot initiatives. One would raise the minimum wage $1 to $8.25/hour. The other would limit the interest that payday loan stores can charge in Missouri to 36%.
